Tannins

The action of these natural acne remedies consists in drying the skin and in narrowing of the pores, which are on its surface, as well as bactericidal action. Tannins very often are used in cosmetic products intended for care of oily skin. The greatest quantity of tannins is observed in an oak bark and yarrow.

Pectinaceous substances

These substances form a protective surface on a skin and they are widely used in cosmetology manufacture. The protective film, that pectin forms has a bactericidal and stimulating curative functions. The greatest maintenance of these acne remedies is observed in fruits, especially in their dense superficial thin skin (citrus, apples, a gooseberry, a currant).

Saponins

These natural acne remedies are liquid substances possessing bactericidal properties and can be found in the intercellular layer of almost all plants. They are used for manufacturing of cosmetic preparations of hair stimulating growth.

Vitamins

The most important component which is used from vegetative material are vitamins. Almost all plants are a unique natural source of vitamins which surpass all industrial analogues in biological availability.

Carotin

Provitamin A, a carotin molecule being split in a digestive path forms two molecules of retinol (vitamin A). Retinol humidifies a skin and promotes acceleration of its regeneration. The most valuable source of carotin are carrots. Also these acne remedies contain in all vegetables and fruits of red or orange colour.

Vitamins of B group

The main sources of B vitamins are exclusively plants. Such preparations as ?1, ?2, ?6, ?5 and folic acid or ?9 are formed only in vegetative fabrics. The person acquires these vital acne remedies exclusively with vegetative food. The basic action of these compounds on a skin consists in stimulation of regenerative processes. B5 possesses properties of strengthening the hair so it is often used as a part of shampoos and balms. cereal cultures are the main sources of vitamins of B group.

Vitamin C and E

These two vitamins are human body antioxidants and natural acne remedies. Their basic action consists in linkage of extremely dangerous products of lipid oxidation. Regulating a hormonal background, these vitamins promote regeneration of a skin and its humidifying. Besides ascorbic acid possesses direct bactericidal action. Vitamin C can be found of a considerable quantity in citrus fruits, in currant, gooseberry, sea buckthorn berries, cranberry, mountain ash. Tocopherol or vitamin E is in salad, corn, sunflower.

Apparently plants are valuable enough source of various biologically active substances which are necessary for a human body and for its normal functions. Besides, all these substances allocated of herbs are valuable natural acne remedies and a source for manufacturing of many cosmetic preparations.

Glucose strengthens metabolism process in skin cells and consequently interferes its excessive drying and wrinkling. The greatest density of glucose is observed in grapes fruits.

Fructose in honey

Fructose is also apart of the group of acne remedies and is a chemical compound very similar to glucose, but specific to vegetative fabrics. Fructose is not developed in human cells. By means of a simple biochemical reaction fructose in a human body turns to glucose. Honey is richest natural product with fructose. In considerable quantities this substance contains in fruits like apples, pears and apricots.

Organic acids

Organic acids (acetic, apple, grape) can also be found in many fruits. These acne remedies carry out a role of buffer solutions in skin cells. Being weak organic acids, they are capable to connect with free ions of hydrogen thus supporting a constant level of pH (acidity level), despite of the constant influence of aggressive outward chemical factors on a skin.

Ether oils in herbs

It is difficult to find other natural acne remedies with so wide application in various areas of living. These substances are made in special ferriferous cells. The smell of some special herbs is caused by aroma of ether oils. The effects of these acne remedies are antibacterial and curative as well indirect stimulating influence on cell’s fabrics. This compound presents in considerable quantity in a camomile, a yarrow and has a stimulating influence on regeneration of the damaged fabric, for example after solar burns. Ether oils are often used in cosmetic products for hair.

Vegetable oils

These substances prevent a skin from drying and do it elastic and soft so it can function adequate. Vegetable oils like almond, olive, corn, sunflower, peach, etc are a part of many cosmetic preparations and acne remedies which are often applied on a dry skin.

Phytoncides

It is s special group of the substances, which possesses bactericidal effect at the expense of direct antimicrobic action, that’s why these compounds are added in every possible anti-cold preparation. Such plants, as calendulas, onions, garlic, a horse-radish, and a horsetail consist of many phytoncides.
