WP Membership Plugin Review – Get A Free Trial Today!

Finding the right membership program is always combined with trial and errors until you find a membership program that really fits your budget and in particular your needs.

None of the programs I have evaluated had everything but the “Digital Access Pass” came very close to it. It works on my preferred Word Perfect platform but also (except the dripping) on a normal website.

I feel the price of the software is a little bit high but then again, if you see all the features and compare them with all the other membership programs, you know that you get much more than you pay for. In fact, you get so much that it seems at the first glance overwhelming.

Fortunately, the documentation of the “Digital Access Pass” membership software is excellent written, completed with a series of high quality videos and a forum where you can even ask questions nobody even thought about yet.

The software is nearly updated every month, and that includes not bug fixes but in most cases complete new features and functionalities.

The “Digital Access Pass” includes everything you need to build a hands-free membership site and is on top of all similar software programs, although in fact no other membership program comes even close to what the DAP is providing on features. I saw much more expensive programs who provided only a fraction of what this program does.

How about true drip-feed of all types of content, in-page dripping (also partially), sequential content delivery, build-in top notch autoresponder and a free “Upsell-Tree” shopping cart plugin, complete customizable membership features, recurring-subscriptions, unlimited 1-click upsells, downsells & cross-sells, ClickBank integration and a special add-on “Self-Service Store” (SSS) ?

Of course the DAP includes integrated payment modules such as PayPal, WorldPay or Authorize.Net And just in case you don’t like the integrated outstanding Autoresponder, you can hook-up AWeber if you like. No need to mention that you can sell unlimited products, have customizable error pages as well as many more features – to many to discuss here.

I should mention that in addition to the excellent software, the support is also outstanding. In many cases, you get an answer within a few hours, if not even minutes.

No program is perfect and certainly the “Digital Access Pass Membership WP-Plugin” can be improved. I don’t mind about that. But take my word, the software has no more rough edges and comes even in different flavors to fit your requirements. If you need a top notch membership program without to be sorry later, just follow my link below. Yes, I’m an affiliate of this program but I would never recommend anything on my site I do not believe is 100% useful for any of my site visitors.

Visit the offsite home page. You will find everything there you need to know. No hypes but solid and detailed information. Take a look at the “Digital Access Pass” (DAP) Membership software and try it out. DAP is now free for 30 days!

Is the “C” programming language Outdated?

1. Historical overview:

The “C” programming language was developed in the early 1970 ties by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie at the Bell Telephone Laboratories to implement the new “UNIX” operating system. Due to its power, efficiency and cross platform portability it quickly spread and became the language of choice for applications targeting the UNIX operating system.

In 1983, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) established a standard specification of C. Many later languages (such as C++, Java or C#) have been influenced by “C”.

These languages improved and enhanced it up to the point that today we have to ask the question of whether “C” has become an outdated, old language which today’s young programmers should not bother to learn anymore.

2. Is “C” still popular today?

With so many “C” like newer languages around, is anybody still using “C”? The question of popularity of programming languages is more difficult to answer than it seems. After all, how do you define the “popularity” of a programming language?

An organization tracking the popularity of programming languages is Tiobe. Their ratings are based on searching the web with certain phrases and counting the number of hits. As per January 2011, the 20 most “popular” programming languages are:

Chart/Table: Tiobe Software

As can be seen, “C” ranks very high on that list. Even if we account for other methods to measure “popularity” (like number of training books sold, number of lines of code still in use, number of open source projects in that language, number of job openings, etc.), it is probably safe to assume “C” is still widely used.

3. The future of “C”

As for new software projects, the language used largely depends on the type of the project (web or “rich client”, database or GUI orientated) and the development environment and programming language the team is most familiar with.

Today the choice of programming language is less important than the runtime environment (libraries and components) that come with the chosen development tools. There will always be a niche where small footprint, performance and efficiency is required (embedded systems, etc.). For these, “C” will always be the first choice.

Due to its popularity today and the fact that many “modern” languages use very similar syntax (Java, C#) it is probably no mistake to recommend new programmers and students “C” as the first programming language.

Newsletter Opt-in Laws and Guide – USA, UK, EUROPE

Better know the laws

#20.11.2010–After all the years when the CAN-SPAM Act was introduced, I can imagine that there are still confusions around what you can do and what not. Or better said, what you have to do to avoid possible punishments by authorities because you have to follow the privacy laws the way it should.

Lawyers working every day and night and come up on November 1, 2010 with new, more strictly privacy rules in the EU. These newer laws requires to have legal information on the important opt-in page rather on a page somewhere inside your site. Anyway, I found a good link explaining what is differently between those laws in several countries and details about them.

You just need to follow the link below the video to get a good starting point. It might not be complete and I can’t give any guarantee that the information are correct, you need to cross-check them. But in any case, it makes it easier to deals with those privacy issue.

SmartVault Part 1 of 6: Breach of Privacy Laws

Separately, Goggle has always its own rules, especially in regards to AdSense. But there are many sites on the net who write for you the legal text automatically, online and for free – to have it on your blog or elsewhere.

There are also unique templates provided by lawyers against a fee, so you can be sure your site is fully protected if you are using them. You are not allowed to make a copy of such legal documents if that hasn’t been mentioned explicitly.

Anyway, besides the embedded video, here is the link I recommend following; to start with your personal or business data selection and privacy laws research:

Opt-In Laws in the USA and EU
– Current Legal Requirements in the USA (CAN-SPAM Act) and EU
– Short Checklist of Legal Requirements
– Short Checklist of Email Best Practices

Email marketing is not dead, yet. But the new rules are covering Facebook as well. If a Facebook user deletes all his data, you have to remove those data from your database too.

Be carefully. Fines can now be very high if not following the new requirements. Make sure you know what you are doing.
